Scholarships

Every year in early June, The Winnetka Club awards a number of scholarships to graduating seniors of character and need, who live in New Trier Township, or who attend school in New Trier Township (Loyola Academy, North Shore Country Day, etc.), or who are dependents of employees of the Village of Winnetka.

Each scholarship ranges between $2,000 and $3,000, and is paid at the beginning of the Fall semester directly to the bursar's office at the college or university where the scholarship winner is enrolled. Scholarships are for one year only and are not renewable.

The Committee awarding the scholarships read all applications "blind." That is, all personal names and the like are redacted from the applications so the Committee will not be prejudiced in any of their deliberations.

All applications and supporting materials should be submitted to Office of The Winnetka Club at 485 Maple Street, Winnetka, 60093.
